Dear Parents/Carers

The Year 6  children set off for France on Monday this week.  They had a good journey to their destination and are having a great time.  We hope you have found the Class Dojo updates interesting!  The Year 6 teachers have posted some fabulous pictures of the children taking part in various activities.  We look forward to hearing all their news.

The children return today and their expected time of arrival is between 7pm-8pm.  Should there be any change to this, we will publish information on the home page of the school website

May I take this opportunity to congratulate Dylan H (Y3) who decided to do a sponsored silence for Children’s Cochlear Implant Group (CICS) as his sister Kaitlyn is profoundly deaf and wears two cochlear implants.  CICS have helped Kaitlyn a lot since she had her first operation 10 years ago.  Dylan was silent for 48 hours(!) and raised £440!  This is fantastic Dylan and we are so proud of you raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

I am aware that a few parents walk their dogs to school and tie them up at the railings by the zebra crossing.  This is totally acceptable but may I ask that you tie them to the “outside” of the railings, i.e. by the grassy area.  Thank you.

Yours sincerely

Ms Anderson (Acting Principal)
