Dear Parents & Carers,
It has been a fantastic week here at Pickhurst Academy—we have had external visitors as part of our Challenge Partnership work. The school has been graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.
I am so incredibly proud to be working the fantastic team here, and I will be sharing a summary of the report to all parents/carers as soon as I have it.
Next week is anti-bullying week (Friendship week) – the children will be discussing friendships and how to sustain good friendships together next week in assemblies.. We will also be completing pupil surveys.
As you may be aware, we have several exciting activities coming up very soon, including:
- Y6 Road Safety Visit (Tuesday 12th November 2019)
- Children in Need—£1 donation needed (Friday 15th November 2019)
Please can I remind any parents/carers to email the school if your child cannot attend an after-school club session —please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
I would also like to remind you to take extra care whilst crossing the road opposite the school, at the zebra crossing. Unfortunately, it appears the lighting is not currently working and we have contacted the council to fix it as a matter of urgency.
Thank you for your continued & ongoing support, and I hope you have a lovely weekend..
