I do hope you all had a great half-term break last week. It has been lovely to see the children settling back for the start of the last half-term for this academic year. I am also glad to hear that our Y6 children had a good week on their residential trip to Wales, where the children had fun taking part in lots of exciting and adventurous activities. Well done to everyone for their achievements, and a big thank you to the staff and parent helpers that facilitated this fantastic trip!
I am also delighted to announce the Senior Leadership Team for the next academic year:
Acting Principal – Mr Siggs
Deputy Headteacher – Mr Church
Assistant Headteacher – Mr Lovell
Assistant Headteacher (P/T) – Mrs Cooper
Inclusion Officer – Mrs Bracey
Senior Leader for Teaching & Learning – Mr Ford
I am so excited to be working with such a dedicated and hard-working team, who are all extremely passionate and committed. I am sure you will join me in congratulating all of the above on their new roles for September 2019.
I will also soon be able to share the teaching team for September 2019 with you, once it has been confirmed. There will be plenty of opportunities for the children to get to know their new teachers before we break for the summer holidays, and the staff will be having thorough handovers with each other also.
- On Monday 10th June 2019, each class will have its photograph taken with their class teacher(s). Please ensure your children are wearing full school uniform and practise their best smile over the weekend!!
- On Thursday, myself & Mrs Bracey will be attending the Bromley Y6 to Y7 Transition Day, where we will meet all secondary school leaders to discuss how best to support our Y6 children when they leave us soon and move on to all of their new schools.
