Dear Parents & Carers,

Despite being a very soggy and wet week, I have enjoyed being able to speak to the children about their learning this week. I particularly enjoyed being shown Jessica’s (Y4) fantastic piece of artwork – it was absolutely brilliant! She used a range of materials, including acrylic paints to produce her masterpiece. She even created a frame for it and painted it gold; it looked amazing! Well done Jessica.

Oliver (Y5) also enjoyed showing me his English and Maths books; it is always lovely to see the children so enthusiastic and proud to talk about their learning. Oliver demonstrated how he uses his teachers’ feedback to help him improve his work and develop his understanding of a topic – well done to you too, Oliver.

This half-term is going to be a very busy one, with lots of events taking place. I have listed some of the key events for the upcoming weeks to hopefully make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun activities taking place.
