We held an assembly for the children on Friday last week, which focused on mental health awareness. This was followed by a Royal Wedding quiz session and songs! We hope you and your children enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding on Saturday; it really was a spectacular occasion.
Please be reminded that children are only to bring healthy breaktime snacks to school, such as a piece of fruit or vegetable for their morning energy boost! Crisps, cereal bars or chocolate are not allowed. Children should also have a water bottle in school and, during the warm weather, please ensure that your child has applied sunscreen and has a hat with them.
At the end of the school day, we would ask that the playground is vacated promptly please so that the gates can be locked for safeguarding reasons.
We hope to see lots of our Y4 parents and carers at the assembly tomorrow morning (9-9.30am), where we will be hearing all about the PGL visit and also the activities that took place at school for those who did not attend.
Our Year 6 children leave on Monday 4th June for their Wales trip. We wish them all a fabulous time and look forward to hearing all about it.
We hope you all have an enjoyable half term break.
Mrs Marsh (Acting Principal)
