Houses of Pickhurst

At Pickhurst Primary Academy, our House System plays an important role in fostering teamwork, pride, and a strong sense of community across the school. Every pupil is allocated to one of four houses when they join the Academy:

• Chatham – Red
• Rochester – Blue
• Sydney – Yellow
• Wolfe – Green

Throughout the week, children earn house points for effort, achievement, good behaviour, and positive contributions to school life. The house with the highest total each week is celebrated in our Monday Celebration Assembly, reinforcing the values of collaboration, perseverance, and pride.

In Year 6, pupils have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities as House Captains, representing their houses and setting a positive example for younger pupils.

Children in year 6 are voted to become house captains.  The house captains for 2025-2026 are:

• Chatham: Leo C, Amelia B
• Rochester: Aliyah M, Roberto P
• Sydney: Dilan D, Charlotte O
• Wolfe: Alfie T, Savitri K
