Year Group 5
Welcome to Year 5
Year 5 is a studious year filled with high expectations but also is a lot of fun!
It is a year that allows the children to embed all the knowledge learnt in Lower Key Stage 2 as well as a year that starts to prepare for transition to secondary school. We aim to encourage and guide the children to grow in maturity. This is so that they learn to gain greater independence and confidence from being given more responsibility in their own learning.
We endeavour to create a happy, positive learning environment and create lessons that engage and stimulate the children’s minds as well as tend to their individual learning needs. Our doors are always open to listen, offer advice and encouragement when needed as our priority is to ensure all children feel safe, valued and content at school.
For us, every child matters and we will strive to ensure that all children achieve their full potential.
