Welcome to Year 4
Year 4 is an exciting and important stage, focused on developing children’s independence and challenging them to achieve their full potential. As role models for younger pupils, Year 4 children are expected to demonstrate a positive attitude to learning, a strong work ethic and exemplary behaviour.
In Year 4, we have high expectations for the standard of work produced. Children are provided with many opportunities to develop and apply their skills across the curriculum. Our dedicated staff team, alongside excellent resources and facilities such as the library, forest school and a range of enriching excursions, ensures that children are well supported in their learning.
We believe that the knowledge, skills and experiences gained in Year 4 provide a strong foundation for success in the upper school and enable children to move forward with confidence towards fulfilling their full potential.
