Year Group 3

Year 3 at Pickhurst Academy marks the beginning of an incredible learning journey, where every child is given the very best opportunity to grow as a conscientious and accomplished individual. We place great emphasis on cooperation within the year group to ensure that the transition into Junior School is as smooth and positive as possible. In Year 3, we maintain high expectations for the standard of work produced. Children are provided with numerous opportunities to develop and apply their skills across the curriculum. Our fantastic staff team, along with outstanding tools and facilities including the library, Forest School, iPads and exciting educational visits ensure that every child can flourish. In return, we expect Year 3 pupils to demonstrate responsibility and trustworthiness by applying themselves fully and always striving to produce work of the highest standard.
